Kalibur Platform

The Problem We Solve

Most trucking carriers have all the data they need to manage drivers well. They just can't use it.

Samsara captures excellent fleet and safety data, but it's built around the truck — not the driver as a workforce member. Dispatch systems generate reports that often go unread. Operations managers end up working from two systems, neither of which answers the question they actually need answered: how is each driver actually performing, shift by shift?

Most ops managers end up doing what they've always done: managing drivers by gut, based on dispatcher feedback and personal impressions. The result is predictable. High performers go unrewarded. Low performers get protected. Turnover hits the wrong people. Decisions about pay and performance get made on the loudest signal, not the truest one.

The Kalibur Platform exists to close that gap.

What The Platform Includes

Per-shift performance KPIs
Every driver gets a performance score for every shift, built from on-duty-not-driving time and delivery output. Drivers running comparable routes can be compared meaningfully — and the gap between top and bottom performers becomes visible for the first time.

AI-generated weekly reports
Our AI translates the data into plain-English weekly summaries for each operations manager. Not raw numbers, not charts to interpret — written analysis that tells managers which drivers to focus on this week and what about.

Custom dashboards and visualizations
Fleet-wide, location-level, and driver-level views that highlight trends, outliers, and patterns. Designed to be glanced at in 30 seconds and acted on, not studied for an hour.

Trend callouts and performance alerts
Weekly callouts that surface drivers or patterns needing attention — a driver suddenly underperforming, a location-wide efficiency drop, an outlier shift that warrants investigation.

Custom KPI configuration
Every carrier's operation is different. We configure the platform's KPIs to match your specific routes, customer types, dispatch model, and operational goals during onboarding.

Built to work with the data sources you already use
The platform ingests Samsara and dispatch data on a regular cadence and surfaces it to your managers — no new tools for your drivers to learn, no parallel reporting infrastructure to maintain.

Ongoing platform support and updates
Continuous improvements to the AI's analysis, new visualizations, and additional KPI options. Updates roll out regularly without disruption to your team.

How It Works

1. Data Setup
We work with you to establish a regular data feed from Samsara and your dispatching system. No new hardware, no driver-facing changes — your existing data starts flowing into the platform on a consistent cadence.

2. KPI Configuration
We configure the platform's KPIs to match your specific operations — your routes, your customer types, your performance standards. This is where the platform becomes uniquely yours.

3. Manager Training
We train your operations managers, dispatchers, and supervisors on how to read and act on the weekly reports. The platform is only valuable if the people receiving the reports know what to do with them.

4. Weekly Reports Begin
Once setup is complete, weekly reports start flowing to your managers. We run alongside your team for the first month to make sure the reports are landing right and your managers are getting value.

Onboarding typically takes 4 to 16 weeks depending on fleet size and data complexity.

Pricing Structure

One-time setup fee plus per-driver monthly subscription on an annual contract. Pricing depends on fleet size and complexity, and is quoted after a discovery call.

Common Questions

How is the Kalibur Platform different from Samsara?
Samsara is the data source. The Kalibur Platform sits on top. Samsara is built around the truck and the route — safety scores, fuel use, vehicle telematics, fleet management. The Kalibur Platform is built around the driver as a workforce member — per-shift productivity, peer comparisons, and the insights operations managers need for coaching, reviews, and pay decisions. Same data foundation, different question.

Do my drivers see anything new?
That's up to you. By default, the platform is a management visibility tool — drivers continue working as they do today, with no app to install, no new device, no new process. You can also choose to share performance data with drivers as part of coaching conversations, performance reviews, or pay-for-performance programs. We help you decide what makes sense for your operation.

A driver-facing experience is a future expansion we're planning.

How accurate is the AI?
The underlying calculations are deterministic — same input, same output, every time. The AI's job is to translate calculated metrics into written narrative for managers, not to make decisions automatically. All AI-generated content is designed to be reviewed by a human before any action is taken.

What if our data isn't clean?
Most carriers' data isn't clean. Onboarding includes a data assessment, and we work with you to clean and standardize what needs cleaning. Messy data is a normal starting point, not a blocker.

What size driver workforce is the platform built for?
Any size. The platform's design isn't constrained by driver count — it works for small regional operations through large national carriers. What changes is the complexity of onboarding: larger driver workforces, multiple locations, and varied data sources take longer to configure, but they're not a limitation.

Stop Drowning in Data. Start Leading With It.

See how Kalibur can help you turn the data you already pay for into smarter driver management — better visibility, better decisions, better outcomes.
